As an Outbound Sales Development Representatives with SpotOn, you will connect with small and medium sized Businesses, help them realize the value of building continuous relationships with their customers, and ultimately understand the value of the SpotOn platform.


Being a rapidly growing startup, this position includes a unique ability to leave a real and lasting impact on SpotOn and its team. We’re looking for someone with an equally unique sense of flexibility and creativity. An individual who feeds off of personal interaction, whilst simultaneously self-motivated enough to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment. 


If this describes you…

  • Able to work full-time from our downtown San Francisco office
  • 6-12 months of experience in Sales Development or Lead Generation
  • High volume cold-calling experience
  • Pre-call planning
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, MS Office)
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
  • Call structure and control
  • College degree preferred, but not required
  • Bi-lingual and looking for an opportunity to lean on your language skills
  • Want to join a rapidly growing Silicon Valley startup

  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel SpotOn’s Pipeline
  • Outbound prospecting into Small & Medium size businesses / merchants via cold calling, email, marketing campaigns, etc...
  • Work closely with sales management to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business for Outside Sales Partners within a designated territory
  • Research and identify new target businesses
  • Conduct high level conversations with business owners / merchants in target accounts
  • Achieve or exceed monthly quotas
  • Manage, track, and report on all sales activities and results using CRM
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of SpotOn Software industry trends and competition.
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
  • Opportunity to close small deals with prospective business owners / merchants
