Based in San Francisco's Financial District, SpotOn is a fast-growing Digital Marketing, Loyalty, Reviews and Integrated Payments platform that helps local businesses build valuable relationships with their customers. These tools, on a single platform, help Small Business Owners grow and run their company.

Our Customer Support Rep is obsessed with problem-solving and efficiently resolving customer issues. We emphasize communication skills, thinking outside the box and relating to our customers business and needs. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment all working towards common goals.

We’re looking to hire our first Director of Marketing to lead our customer and consumer marketing efforts and leave a lasting impact on the company and our customers. Working closely with the CEO and executive leadership team, you will craft and implement strategic marketing initiatives to drive growth and build the SpotOn brand.



  • Work closely with CEO and leadership team to identify marketing needs and opportunities
  • Develop strategic marketing and activation plans
  • Work closely with PR agency and leadership team to develop and evangelize the SpotOn story. Deliver communications, messaging, sales narratives/positioning and content marketing (case studies, collateral, social posts etc)
  • Identify scaled opportunities to build awareness and drive growth in local markets
  • Leverage both qualitative and quantitative data to develop go-to market plans
  • Build SpotOn’s digital marketing presence, including content, SEO/SEM and digital advertising (Facebook Business Manager and Google AdWords)
  • Create and manage external vendor relationships to help drive initiatives at scale
  • Build marketing budget recommendation and effectively manage and negotiate allocated budget
  • Analyze and report on marketing impact



  • 8-10 years of marketing experience, ideally in digital marketing
  • Hands-on experience developing and executing innovative, integrated marketing campaigns
  • Proven strategic ability to design and manage effective marketing solutions for leading brands
  • Direct experience working with Facebook’s Business Manager and Google AdWords
  • Knowledgeable at building, inspiring and leading productive teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical mind with the ability to iterate and optimize in real-time
  • Past experience hiring and managing agencies, designers, or other external marketing vendors
  • Thrive as a self-starter working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Experience working with SMB’s preferred but not required
